How to Heal Your Body

Feb 11, 2025

Our ability to heal is directed to breathing. The Parasympathetic state controls our rest and digest state. If we are not in this state, our metabolism is turned off.  Think of a campfire with a little flame when you put many large logs on it. The flame goes out. It would be best if you had little twigs and a little breath, and it will start getting the fire going. When it gets going, you can add more logs. When you begin a diet, you put logs on the fire. If you want your metabolism to start, you need gentle breath. Small hinges swing big doors. For digestion, energy, and healing, we must address our breathing. Then, adjust to the bigger things—the most potent sources of energy and nourishment.

Water, making up 70% of our body, is vital to our well-being.  It's a constant reminder of our body's need for hydration and the role water plays in maintaining our health.

Food is less about what we eat and more about who we are while eating. It is more about how we chew, how we are related, how we are grateful, and how we receive it.

Learning how to activate the digestive system through breathing and how you eat, not what you eat, is a game changer.
